Mastopexy
Mastopexy in Vladikavkaz
Mastopexy or breast lifting is a kind of operation whose purpose is to improve the appearance of the breast by removing only excess skin, "pulling up" the breast. Mastopexy is used when the breast is not hypertrophied, but lost shape due to stretching of the skin. The breasts begin to sag, especially after childbirth and lactation. No procedures are capable of hindering this. The operation is performed without excision of the gland tissue and fat. Simultaneously with a lift, you can also reduce the areols, if necessary. In plastic surgery, there are 3 types of breast lifts:
Circular mastopexy - incision only on the contour of the areola
With a vertical scar - an incision along the areola and from the areola to the submammary fold
Anchor or T-shaped incision - incision along the areola, from the areola to the submammary fold and along the submammary fold
The operation is performed both under local anesthesia and under general anesthesia and usually takes from 1.5 to 3 hours. The postoperative period is easy enough. The pain is minor and easily suppressed by analgesics.
Technique of operation The careful marking with a choice of a new location of a nipple-areolar complex is made. The essence of the operation is to excise excess skin, thereby eliminating ptosis of the breast. In some cases, a breast lift is combined with augmentation of the mammary glands, to increase the volume.
